Major Needs Assessment - San Francisco, California

LDA Architects participated with Esherick Homsey Dodge and Davis, and Williams & Tanaka Architects to conduct an in-depth study and to produce an extensive report of the major needs assessment and master site planning for the City and County of San Francisco Jail.

This Needs Assessment inventories the existing Jail facilities, and analyzes the operational problems faced by the Sheriff's Department. The goal of the study was to find a cost effective approach that maximized the current facilities and achieved the operational objectives deemed most important by the Sheriff's Department and the Jail Policy and Planning Advisory Committee.
