Hotel Meridien reaches 370 feet above a full 3-story podium situated on a one acre infill urban site.

The steel-framed, precast concrete clad structure houses 681 guest rooms and suites and provides meeting and reception space for 2,700 people. A gourmet restaurant provides quiet, elegant dining for 106 guests while the 24-hour brasserie seats 158 for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Two bars at the Lobby level serve 70, and a conveniently located shop can supply visitors with gifts and sundries. The Hotel also contains administrative offices, a complete laundry and dry and dry cleaning plant, parking for 100 cars and a full range of facilities for 500 employees.

The tower's top two stories contain 2, 3, and 4-room suites, large Presidential and Vice-Presidential apartments and a double-story club room catering special food and recreation for visitors of the suite floors. The remaining guest rooms vary in design and provide for the comfort of the single traveler or a family of six. The orientation of the building affords a view of the City or the Bay from every room.
