In association with McCartan Interiors, LDA executed the design for the Kitchen, Restaurant and Bar for the new Hotel Vitale. Occupying 4,000 square feet of space overlooking San Francisco’s landmark Ferry Building, and including a 2,000 square foot Dining Patio, the Restaurant will serve the City’s newest boutique hotel.

Serving Nouvelle Italian cuisine, the Kitchen will feature a demonstration cooking line. The capacity of the Kitchen will enable it to service Guestroom Room Service, and the Hotel’s meeting facilities.

A large, full-service Bar is the centerpiece of the Dining Room. The back bar is against a glass wall, offering the hotel lobby a view through the Restaurant to the waterfront beyond, and providing patrons an invitation to the dining establishment.

In cooperation with Webcor Builders, the design is being negotiated to meet the owners’ budget limitations. The Hotel and its Restaurant is expected to open for business in the late 2004.

LDA Architects also provided professional services in the design of the 200-room Hotel Vitale.
