Fillmore Heritage Center
San Francisco, California

Located at the heart of the Fillmore Jazz District, the Fillmore Heritage Center is the new home of Jazz. This mixed-use complex includes a mix of commercial uses that will provide a vibrant activity center to catalyze the Fillmore Street corridor topped by a residential tower, further enlivening the district.
The main entrance brings visitors into a grand lobby off of which is The Jazz Heritage Center. Open to the public, the Center documents the history of the Fillmore District and Jazz in America through an interactive photography, and audio-video presentation that serves as an educational complex for children, adults and visitors to San Francisco.
North of the lobby and opening onto Fillmore Street, the project is anchored by Yoshi’s, an internationally known Jazz venue and restaurant located on two levels. Seating 370 in the club, 242 in the restaurant, and 99 in the bar, Yoshi's is a major destination for entertainment and night life activity in the area.
South of the Lobby and anchoring the corner of the building, 1300 On Fillmore, a southern nouvelle restaurant, brings up-scale Soul Food dining to the neighborhood with a chic and modern flair.
Above the commercial base are 80 high-quality for-sale condominium housing units. Of these, the program provides 12 Below Market Rate (BMR) units targeted for income levels from 80-120% of median. On all sides, the residences feature spectacular views of the city and surrounding neighborhoods.
Below ground a public parking garage provides off-street parking and has direct access into the entertainment complex above. These parking spaces are owned by the City and operated by the Parking Authority providing lease-revenue bonds as a partial source for funding the public garage.
