Douglas Shortes
Associate Principal
Since joining LDA in 2000, Douglas has quickly become an important member of the office production and management team. Douglas has considerable experience in Types I, III, and V construction for multiple project types including residential, commercial, hospitality, office tenant improvement, and health care. His experience on both large and small scale projects is evident in his expertise in producing efficient and well-organized drawing packages and he is responsible for work that continues the Firm’s reputation for exceeding all industry expectations.
Doug is the firm's Director of Operations, overseeing project assignments and managing the LDA Operational Standards. With keen attention to detail, he also provides mentorhsip in all technical and quality control aspects of the firm's production.
